  Off Licence Conditions

   

  Mandatory conditions where licence authorises the supply of alcohol

   

   

  (1)              No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -

   

  (a)              at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  (b)              at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  (2)              The supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

   

• ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE

   

  1. CCTV installed, maintained and fully operational with 3 cameras located in the premises and 1 camera located externally covering the front of the shop.

  2. Images will be stored for 28 days and a copy of the image handed to the Police or Authorised Officer of the Local Authority upon request.

  3. Adopt "challenge 21" initiative with posters displayed inside the premises.

• ANNEX 3

   

  Conditions attached after a hearing by the licensing authority

   

  The following conditions shall be imposed:

   

  1)              To ask for appropriate identification of proof of age with a photograph of the person displayed on the I.D.

   

  2)              A refusal log is to be kept to record dates and times of all refusals to retail alcohol to underage persons.

   

  3)              A copy of the Refusals Log will be made available immediately upon request of Authorised Officers of RMBC.

   

  4)              To provide training, at least every six months, to new and existing staff, on the law relating to underage sales of alcohol.

   

  5)              To keep written records of all training provided in respect to the law relating to underage sales of alcohol. Staff to sign and date records to confirm that the training has been received and understood.

   

  6)              To record any remedial action following a report from Trading Standards of an alleged sale from the premise.

   

  7)              To produce a copy of the 'Record of Remedial Action' if requested by an Authorised Officer of RMBC.

   

  8)              To attend training seminars organised by the Trading Standard Service as and when requested to do so.

   

  9)              To provide training to all new staff before selling alcohol.

   

  10)              The images recorded by the CCTV system shall be retained in un-edited form for a period of no less than 31 days and made available to the Police and RMBC upon request.
