ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1) The centre has a comprehensive internal telephone system allowing staff to quickly relay information to one another so speeding up the response times to situations that may occur.
2) Capacity limits are in place and adhered to as stipulated by the fire service.
3) A comprehensive CCTV system is in place.
4) The proof of age scheme is in operation and all staff have been familiarised with its operation.
5) The centre do not and never will run any form of drinks promotions and discourage binge drinking.
6) Entrance to the building for all events where alcohol is available is by invitation or by presentation of an applicable ticket only.
7) Links with the police & the community are established & maintained.
8) The building is equipped with a comprehensive fire alarm system which is maintained and checked on a weekly basis as well as checks on all fire fighting equipment.
9) The facilities work to Normal Operating Procedures & Emergency Operation Procedure in which all staff are trained.
10) All emergency signage is in place and checked regularly.
11) Pre event checks are carried out before the public are allowed into the building ensuring all means ingress and egress are in working order and unobstructed.
12) Full disabled facilities are provided and site specific emergency procedures are in place to account for people with special needs.
13) Emergency lighting system are maintained and checked on a weekly basis, external lighting is in place.
14) All members of the public are directed to leave the building from the front entrance.
15) Unaccompanied children under the age of 16 are not allowed in the bar lounge.
16) Where children are permitted to attend up to midnight, they must be accompanied by an adult.
17) The proof of age scheme is in place to prevent the sale of alcohol to under age persons.
18) Strict measures are in place to prevent the purchase of alcohol on behalf of under age people.
19) Extensive notices/signage are on display to demonstrate the law in respect of the purchase or supply of alcohol to underage people.
20) All hirers of the building who intend to invite children are briefed as to the potential dangers and requested to assist in the prevention of illegal activity and ensuring a safe environment for children.
