ANNEX 3 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY
1. CCTV images to be retained for 31 days and produced to Authorised Officers of RMBC immediately upon request
2. The Licensee to produce the required CCTV images immediately upon request to authorised officers of RMBC.
3. CCTV equipment to be checked at the commencement of the trading day. If the CCTV is not working no retail sale of alcohol may take place until such times as the equipment is working.
4. A refusal log is to be kept to record dates and times of all refusals to retail alcohol to underage persons.
5. A copy of the refusal log will be made available immediately upon request to Authorised Officers of RMBC
6. To sign up to the Responsible Retailer Scheme
7. The Challenge 21 scheme to be operated at the licensed premises
8. The Challenge 21 scheme posters to be clearly and prominently displayed at the licensed premises
9. To ask for appropriate identification of proof of age with a photograph of the person displayed on the I.D. when the person attempting to purchase alcohol appears to be under 21 years of age.
10. To provide training for all new and existing staff on the law relating to underage sales of alcohol.
11. To keep written records of all training provided in respect to the law relating to underage sales of alcohol and all staff to sign and date records to confirm that the training has been received and understood.
12. To attend training seminars organised by the Training Standards Service as and when requested to do so.
13. To notify staff of any reports of alleged underage sale incidents that have been brought to the Premise Licence holders and/or the Designated Premises Supervisors attention by the Trading Standards section of RMBC.
14. To keep a log of such notifications on file, ready for inspection by authorised officers of RMBC if required.
15. To record any remedial action following a report from RMBC’s Trading Standards section of an alleged underage sale from the premises.
16. To produce a copy of the “Record of Remedial Action” if requested to do so by an authorised officer of RMBC.
