ANNEX 3 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY
1. A copy of the Refusals log will be made available immediately upon request of Authorised Officers of RMBC.
2. To ask for appropriate identification of proof of age with a photograph of the person displayed on the I.D.
3. The Challenge 21 Scheme is operated at these premises.
4. Challenge 21 posters to be clearly and prominently displayed.
5. To provide training, at least once a year, to new and existing staff, on the law relating to underage sales of alcohol.
6. The DPS to keep written records of all training provided in respect to the law relating to underage sales of alcohol. Staff to sign and date records to confirm that the training has been received and understood.
7. To notify staff of any reports of alleged underage sale incidents that has been brought to your attention by Trading Standards.
8. To keep a log of such notifications on file, for inspection by authorised officers of RMBC if required.
9. To record any remedial action following a report of Trading Standards of an alleged underage sale from the premise.
10. To produce a copy of the 'Record of Remedial Action' if requested by an authorised officer of RMBC.
11. All sales of alcohol to be made through a single checkout point for a period of 6 months (ending midnight on Sunday 8th August 2010) - known as a "Designated Alcohol Sales Zone", other than the times specified below where two checkout points can be designated as "Alcohol Sale Zones". The times being;
Fridays 3pm - 10pm
Saturdays 12noon - 8pm
12. This checkout to be manned by suitably experienced staff who will receive refresher training every three months in respect of the law relating to the underage sales of alcohol. Suitably experienced staff has been defined as someone;
Employed by Tesco for minimum of two years with checkout experience
Over 21 years of age
Received underage sales training in accordance with Tesco's policies and procedures
13. To produce a copy of the training records for inspection if requested by an authorised officer of RMBC
