ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1.Refusal Log / book to be kept to record dates and times of all refusals of retail alcohol.
2. A copy of this information is to be made available upon request to an Authorised Officer of RMBC.
3. ID seen log book.
4. CCTV equipment to be installed and in full working order at all times.
5. CCTV to record during all operational hours of the business.
6. CCTV cameras to be fitted externally to the front and rear of the premises.
7. CCTV cameras to be installed within the premises so as to provide coverage of all areas where alcohol is displayed.
8. CCTV cameras to be installed to record transactions at the point of sale.
9. These cameras must clearly show the faces of the purchaser / person retailing the alcohol and provide images which clearly show the type and nature of product being sold.
10. CCTV equipment to be tested as working before the commencement of business every day.
11. If CCTV is not working there shall be no retail of alcohol until such times as it is working.
12. CCTV images to be produced immediately upon request to the Police / Authorised Officer of the Council.
13. CCTV images to be kept for a minimum of 31 days.
14. Any persons entering the shop with hoodies or any type of clothing which impairs clear identification of the person will not be sold or supplied with alcohol. (Any persons wearing any type of headwear on the grounds of religious, medical reasons are excluded from this condition).
15. Premises to adopt the Challenge 21 Scheme as adopted by the British Beer and Pub Association. Posters of this scheme are to be displayed in a prominent position throughout the premises.
16. To provide training at least once per year to all existing staff on age restricted products.
17. To notify staff of any incidents reported by RMBC Trading Standards in relation to alleged under age sales of alcohol from the premises.
18. To keep a record of these notifications on file ready for inspection by Authorised Officers of RMBC if required.
19. To record any remedial action taken following a report from RMBC Trading Standards of an alleged under age sale from the premises.
20. To keep and produce a copy of a "record of remedial action" if requested by an Authorised Officer of RMBC.
