ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. Challenge 25 Policy in place. (If customer appears under the age of 25 and attempts to purchase alcohol they should be challenged about their age).
2. Posters, minimum size A4, displaying Challenge 25 Policy clearly and prominently displayed.
3. Only forms of acceptable identification are: Photo driving licence, Passport and a Proof of Age Scheme Card which carries the PASS hologram.
4. Refusals log in place recording any refusal of sale of alcohol, this log made available upon request of an authorised officer.
5. An ID Log is to be kept to record dates and time where ID has been requested and to record the type of ID shown.
6. A copy of this ID log will be made available immediately upon request to authorised officers of Rochdale Borough Council.
7. To attend training seminars organised by the Trading Standards Service as and when requested to do so.
8. To inform all staff of changes in the law relating to age-restricted products as and when required.
9. To provide training, at least once a year, to existing staff, on the law relating to underage sales of alcohol.
10. To provide training for all new staff on the sale of age restricted products.
11. To keep written records of all training provided in respect to the law relating to underage sales of alcohol. Staff to sign and date records confirm that the training has been received and understood.
12. To notify staff of any reports of alleged underage sale incidents that has been brought to your attention by Trading Standards.
13. To keep a log of such notifications on file, ready for inspection by authorised officers of Rochdale Borough Council if required.
14. To record any remedial action following a report from Trading Standards of an alleged underage sale from the premise.
15. To produce a copy of the ‘Record of Remedial Action’ if requested by an authorised officer of Rochdale Borough Council.
16. All employees/workers must have legitimate entitlement to work in the UK15. Posters displaying zero Policy in relation to Drug Use.
17. Records of all employees/workers will be maintained to include details of name, date of birth, address and copy of photographic I.D. Those records to be maintained at the premises and made available to Police or other relevant authority, for inspection immediately upon request.
18. Daily booking on and off sheets to be maintained for all staff. Records to be held at the premises and made available to Police or Other relevant authority for inspection
19. Digital CCTV system installed and in operation.
20. CCTV retained in a secure environment.
21. CCTV system installed so as to ensure no “Black Spots”.
22. CCTV system shows correct time(s) and date(s)
23. CCTV cameras cover internal and external areas of the premises.
24. At least one CCTV camera specifically positioned to capture facial images of any person entering the premises at every entrance.
25. All areas sufficiently illuminated for the purpose of CCTV images
26. CCTV images to be of evidential quality and capable of facial recognition
27. CCTV images retained for a minimum period of 31 consecutive days.
28. A person capable of operating the CCTV always available and able to produce, download or burn CCTV images if requested by Police or other relevant Licensing Authority.
29. CCTV maintenance carried out regularly and kept in good working order, records of these checks made and available for inspection by authorised officer on request.
30. Records of weekly checks to be made and available for inspection by authorised officer on request.
31. CCTV records at all times members of the public are on the premises.
32. Posters displayed in a prominent position at the entrances and exits of the premises notifying members of the public that CCTV is in operation and images are being captured for the purposes of crime prevention and public safety.
33. Displayed posters to be no smaller than A4 size.
