ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. CCTV provided in digitally recordable format, capable of producing pictures of evidential quality in all lighting conditions and capable of facial recognition
2. CCTV fitted to cover all entrances, exits and main serving areas
3. CCTV maintained in good working order, showing correct times and dates and checked daily. Records of those checks made
4. Recordings retained for at least 31 days and made available for viewing or copies made at the request of the police or other relevant authority. The equipment and any recordings kept in a secure environment and a person who can operate/download images always available
5. CCTV operational at all times premises is open to the public
6. Challenge 25 Policy at the premise and Challenge 25 posters to be clearly and prominently displayed
7. Only acceptable forms of identification are photocard driving licences, passports and PASS approved ID cards. All staff trained in appropriate forms of ID.
9. Refusal log in operation. Log made available to authorised officers of RMBC and the police on request
10. Training provided at least every 6 months to new and existing staff, on the law relating to underage sales of alcohol
11. Written records kept of all training provided in respect of the law relating to underage sales of alcohol. Staff to sign and date records to confirm that the training has been received and understood
12. To sign up to the RBC ‘Responsible Retailer Scheme’ run by Rochdale MBC Trading Standards Service.
13. To notify staff of any reports of alleged underage sales incidents that has been brought to your attention by Trading Standards
14. To keep a log of such notifications on file, ready for inspection by authorised officers of Rochdale MBC, if required
15. No sales of alcohol to any person who appears to be intoxicated. All staff trained regarding sale of alcohol to intoxicated persons and their social responsibility regarding street drinking. Any person suspected to be buying alcohol for that purpose will be refused sale and the incident recorded in the aforementioned refusals log
16. No credit facility available where the sale of alcohol is concerned. All alcohol sales must be completed with a cash/debit/credit/cheque transaction at the time of the sale
17. Actively discourage and challenge any anti-social behaviour
