ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. CCTV is installed internally and operational.
2. No irresponsible drinks promotions.
3. Pre-opening safety checks will be carried out at the premises before each trading session.
4. Be a member and active supporter / participant of the local Pub Watch Scheme.
5. Any advice of the Police Crime Prevention Officer will be complied with.
6. SIA registered door supervisors on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings until close and at other times when deemed necessary by the management.
7. All members of the management will be trained in all relation to all of the Licensing Objectives so as to prevent crime, disorder, public nuisance and promote public safety and the protection of children from harm.
8. All members of staff concerned with sales of alcohol will be trained in relation to sales of alcohol to persons under the age of 18 years.
9. A zero Tolerance Drugs Policy in place.
10. A PASS accredited ID scheme is in place.
11. Annual testing and inspection of the Gas Instillation at the premises by a qualified engineer.
12. Annual testing and inspection of the Emergency lighting at the premises by a qualified engineer.
13. Annual testing and inspection of the Fire Alarm at the premises by a qualified engineer.
14. Maintaining emergency exits and emergency escape routs to ensure that these can be used at all times.
15. Annual testing and inspection of the Electrical Installation at the premises by a qualified engineer.
16. RCD protection on the distribution board or, alternatively, RCD protection on plugs used for temporary electrical equipment in connection with regulated entertainment.
17. Doors and windows to be kept closed when entertainment is in progress (except for access).
18. Persons who persistently cause a disturbance outside the premises either before or after entry to be banned from the premises in accordance with the management practices.
19. The management will ensure that the grounds of the premises will be kept tidy and without nuisance to other neighbouring businesses or residents.
20. Signs posted at the exits reminding customers to leave quietly and with respect for local residents.
21. DJ / public announcement to be made at the end of each evening asking the customers to leave quietly.
22. Door supervisors to monitor those customers queuing to gain entry to the premises and using approved management methods for any causing disturbance.
23. Door supervisors are instructed to ensure customers do not leave with bottles or glasses.
24. A 'Wind Down Period' will occur for 30 minutes prior to closing when quieter music is being played.
25. Any S.34 gaming machines at the premises are positioned within sight of the bar servery in order that full supervision can be given as to those playing on such.
26. No persons under 18 years to be allowed access to the premises after 8pm.
27. All members of staff concerned with sales of alcohol will be trained in relation to sales of alcohol to persons under the age of 18 years.
28. Persons aged under 18 years of age to be excluded from the premises on occasions which the management deem appropriate and subject to the activities taking place.
29. All members of staff concerned with sales of alcohol will be trained in relation to sales of alcohol to persons under the age of 18 years.
30. No customers carrying open or sealed bottles shall be admitted to the premises at any time that the premises are open to the public.
31. A sign will be located on the premises indicating the standard hours during which the sale of alcohol is permitted.
32. All fire doors will be maintained effectively and shall be self closing and shall not be held open other than by approved devices.
33. Emergencies, including how the fire brigade shall be summoned, are to be prominently displayed.
34. Anyone who appears to be under the age of 21 and who is attempting to purchase alcohol must be required to produce proof of age before such a sale is made. Premises to adopt the "challenge 21" scheme as adopted by the British Beer and Pub Association.
35. At least 2 Door Staff to be employed from until closing on a Friday and Saturday evening.
36. All door staff, whether inside or out, to wear as a minimum standard of dress a fluorescent waistcoat over their normal working clothes.
37. All door staff are to be SIA Registered.
38. When door staff are employed at the premises, i.e Friday and Saturday the Designated Premises Supervisor will keep a logbook of who is on duty, detailing badge number, start time and finish time, plus the documenting of any incidents occurring. Provide the same to the Police or Licensing Officer upon request.
39. The CCTV system is to be maintained in good orders at all times. The system is to be of standard approval by the local Crime Prevention Officer. Images from all cameras are to be stored for a period of not less than 31 days. CCTV to record at all times premises open to the public. Images are to be made available to any Police Officer or authorised officer of the local authority immediately upon their request.
40. The premises are to participate in the Pubwatch scheme with a requirement to attend 75% of meetings.
41. The DPS or duty manager will be trained in relation to use of CCTV equipment.
42. The DPS or duty manager will be able to produce the required CCTV images immediately upon request to Authorised Officers of RMBC.
43. A refusal log is to be kept to record dates and times of all refusals to retail alcohol to underage persons.
44. A copy of this information will be made available immediately upon request of Authorised Officers of RMBC.
45. To ask for appropriate identification of proof of age with a photograph of the person displayed on the ID.
46. To provide training, at least once a year, to all existing staff on age restricted products.
47. To provide training for all new staff on the sale of age restricted products.
48. To attend training seminars organised by the Trading Standards Service as and when requested to do so.
49. To inform all staff of changes in the law relating to age-restricted products as and when required.
50. To keep a written record of all training provided and get staff to sign and date records to confirm that the training has been received and understood.
51. To record any remedial action following a report from Trading Standards of an alleged underage sale from the premises.
52. To produce a copy of the "Record of Remedial Action" if requested by an authorised officer of RMBC.
53. The CCTV system is to be checked on a daily basis and if it is found not to be working, no alcohol may be served until such time that it is.
