ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. The premises will comply with all requirements of the Licensing Act 2003 and will cooperate fully, at all times, with all reasonable requests made by the Police and Licensing Service.
2. The premises licence holder (PLH) will adopt any additional, appropriate, and proportionate operating conditions if requested by any Responsible Authority.
3. The premises will maintain a 24/7 mobile contact number that is always operational to enable any Responsible Authority to make immediate contact with the PLH if required.
4. CCTV cameras must cover all internal and external areas of the premises, including all areas where customers have legitimate access.
5. At least one CCTV camera must be specifically positioned to capture clear facial images of any persons entering the premises.
6. All areas must be sufficiently illuminated to ensure the recording of clear and high-quality CCTV images.
7. CCTV images must have sufficient clarity, quality, and definition to enable facial recognition.
8. CCTV recordings must be retained in an unedited format for a minimum period of 31 consecutive days. The CCTV system must record images 24/7, regardless of whether the premises are open or closed.
9. Any person left in charge of the premises must be trained in the use of the CCTV equipment and be able to produce, download, or burn CCTV images upon request.
10. The CCTV system must be maintained regularly and always kept in good working order. Images must be produced to the Police or Authorised Licensing Officers immediately upon request.
11. CCTV must be checked daily, and if found to be non-operational, the premises must cease trading until the system is fully functional.
12. Posters, no smaller than A3 size, must be clearly and prominently displayed at the entrance and front window of the premises, stating that CCTV is in operation and that images are being captured for the purposes of crime prevention and public safety. These posters must be printed on a yellow background, in bold text, and must not be handwritten.
13. Any incidents occurring at or in the vicinity of the premises will be promptly logged in a dedicated incident logbook, detailing the nature of the incident, the individuals involved (where known), and the actions taken by staff. This logbook will be made available for inspection by the relevant authorities upon request. Additionally, all incidents of a serious nature, including but not limited to anti-social behaviour, violence, or criminal activity, will be reported to the relevant authorities i.e. Police
14. Staff to be informed of the licensing objectives and ensure they understand the rationale and purpose of the objectives
15. To ensure that during busy periods, there are multiple staff working, to ensure the safety of staff and customers is maintained.
16. Compliant with all required health and safety laws
17. Staff to be trained in first aid
18. ensure that staff are aware of the leading signs of abuse from parents to children, and that they should inform management if they are concerned for the welfare of children.
19. Prominent, clear, and legible notices must be displayed at all exits requesting that customers respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and area quietly.
20. Where the premises provide food for consumption off the premises, the public area immediately surrounding the premises shall be cleared of waste food, food containers, wrapping etc. at the end of trading on each day.
21. Persons under the age of 18 are permitted to enter the premises unaccompanied before 22:00 hours. However, after 22:00 hours, individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult to enter the premises. Clear signage will be displayed at the entrance to inform customers of this policy.
22. Staff will be trained to enforce this policy consistently and courteously, ensuring compliance with the outlined restrictions.
