ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. A member of staff with a personal licence is to be present at the store at all times that the premises are open to the public’.
2. The Premises Licence Holder shall ensure that notices are displayed advising of the Challenge 25 scheme at the premises.
3. A zero-tolerance drug policy adopted and implemented within the premise.
4. A proof of age scheme adopted, implemented, and advertised within the premise.
5. All staff trained in the prevention of underage sales to a level commensurate with their duties
6. If any incident occurs, manager is to be on call all the time
7. CCTV shall be in use at the premises
8. 4 CCTV cameras installed on each corner of the shop floor and 2 camera installed outside the premises
9. CCTV equipment must be checked at the beginning of each day, and before any sales of alcohol are made. If the CCTV is not working, no sale of alcohol may take place until such time as the equipment is fully operational.
10. CCTV system, is installed to cover all entry and exit points of the premises enabling frontal identification of every person entering in any light condition.
11. The CCTV system shall continually record and cover areas where alcohol is kept for selection and purchase by the public, whilst the premises is open for licensable activities. It shall operate during all times when customers remain on the premises.
12. The CCTV will cover the till area and record every sale. No sale or supply of goods should take place in any other area of the premises.
13. The recording equipment is stored and operated in a secure environment with limited access, to avoid damage, theft, unauthorised viewing and maintain the integrity of the system.
14.All operators to receive training from the installer when equipment is installed and that this is cascaded down to new members of nominated staff.
15. A simple operator’s manual available to assist in replaying and exporting data (Particularly important with digital systems) and to produce images to the police responsible authority for the purpose of the prevention and detection of crime as long as the request is lawful and complies with the Data Protection Act.
16. In the event of a technical failure of the CCTV equipment, the premises licence holder or DPS shall notify the police and licensing department responsible for the area within 24 hours.
17. The system clock shall be checked regularly for accuracy taking account of GMT and BST.
18. Digital systems shall have sufficient storage capacity for 28 days evidential quality, recordings (minimum 4 frames per second).
19. A notice shall be displayed at the entrance to the premises advising that CCTV is in operation.
20. Alcohol purchased on the premises to be consumed off the premises
21. The premises licence holder shall require the designated premises supervisor or in his/her absence other responsible person, to keep an incidents/refusals logbook in a bound book in which full details of all incidents are recorded. This shall include details of any refused sales and shall give details of the persons involved, incident description, time and date, actions taken and the outcome of the situation. The refusals book shall be available for inspection upon request by an authorised officer of the Licensing Service, Trading Standards or Greater Manchester Police.

29. Fire alarms, fire extinguishers in working order
30. Fire safety exits not to be blocked at any time
31. No smoking premises- if anyone smokes, they will be asked to leave premises immediately
32. Property security procedures in place
33. Fire safety and training and evacuation procedures- all staff trained
34. Emergency lightning installed and regularly maintained
35. The premises have current and suitable Public Liability Insurance. A certificate will be obtained each year and displayed at the premises.
36. Regular checks and cleaning outside and litter collection.
37. The Premises Licence Holder shall ensure that customers leaving the building must respect the needs of residents and leave the premises and the area quietly.
