ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. To ask for appropriate identification of proof of age with a photograph of the person displayed on the ID. Appropriate identification is limited to a passport, photo driving licence or a PASS proof of age card.
2. An ID log is to be kept to record dates and times where ID has been requested and to record the type of ID shown.
3. A copy of this ID log will be made available immediately upon request to authorised officers of Rochdale borough council.
4. A refusals log is to be kept to record dates and times of all refusals to retail alcohol to under aged persons.
5. A copy of the refusals log will be made available immediately upon request of authorised officers of Rochdale borough council.
6. Challenge 25 scheme operated at premises.
7. Challenge 25 posters to be clearly and prominently displayed.
8. To inform all staff of changes in the law relating to age-restricted products as and when required.
9. To provide training at least once a year, to existing staff, on the law relating to under age sales of alcohol.
10. To provide training to all new staff on the sale of age restricted products.
11. To keep written records of all training provided in respect to the law relating to under aged sales of alcohol. Staff to sign and date records to confirm that the training has been received and understood.
12. To notify staff of any reports of alleged under aged sale incidents that has been brought to your attention by trading standards.
13. To keep a log of such notifications on file, ready for inspection by authorised officers of Rochdale borough council if required.
14. To record any remedial action following a report from trading standards of an alleged under aged sale from the premise.
15. To produce a copy of the ‘record of remedial action’ if requested by an authorised officer of Rochdale borough council.
16. A risk assessment will be carried initially and at regular intervals to assess and monitor potential hazards.
17. Zero tolerance of drug use and violence.
18. Installation of a 24 hour closed circuit TV system to monitor and record all activities on the premises.
19. All staff to be trained on our work place policy on violence and how to implement it.
20. Health and safety risk assessments will be undertaken to assess potential hazard.
21. Monitoring of noise level.
22. Zero tolerance of unruly, rude, abusive behaviour.
23. No alcohol accessible to children.
24. All breakages to be cleared up immediately.
25.Notices asking customers to respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum will be displayed at all entrances and exits, including any areas used for smoking.
26.Smoking areas will be contained as far away from neighbouring residential properties as possible.
27.If door staff are on duty it will be part of their role to ensure that any noise is kept to an acceptable level. If no door staff it will be the responsibility of the duty manager.
28.Only background music to be played outside the premises.
29.No speakers to be used outside the premises after 20:00 Hrs
30. Deliveries will be organised in such a manner as to ensure the minimum practical disturbance is caused. As per the planning condition if applicable, otherwise deliveries shall take place between the hours of 07:00 and 18:00 hours Monday to Friday and between 08:30 and 18:00 hours on Saturdays. Not at all on Sundays or Bank Holidays.
31. To act responsibly by keeping the volume of any amplified entertainment at an acceptable level at all times and so that the entertainment will not be cause a nuisance inside or outside any noise sensitive premises.
32. To assist this; During loud entertainment, doors and windows will be kept closed except for ingress and egress, to prevent the noise escaping.
33. Waste (especially bottles), with the exception of food, will not be placed in external bins after 22:00hrs or before 09:00hrs.
