ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. A responsible member of staff on site at all times the premises is open to the public.
2. All members of staff employed will have authority to live and work in the UK.
3. Posters, minimum size A4, displaying Challenge 25 Policy clearly and prominently displayed at relevant alcohol sale points throughout the premises.
4. Only forms of acceptable identification are: Photo driving licence, Passport, Military I.D. Card and a Proof of Age Scheme Card which carries the PASS hologram.
5. An ID log to be kept to record dates and times when ID has been requested and to record the type of ID shown. Copy made available to authorised officers/ Police
6. Refusals/ incident log maintained in place recording any refusal of sale of alcohol or disorder, this log made available upon request of any authorised officer/ Police.
7. Training provided to all staff upon induction and then annually on the sale of age restricted products before they serve behind any bar area.
8. To attend training seminars organised by Trading Standards Service as and when requested to do so
9. To inform all staff of any changes in law relating to age restricted products as and when required
10. Records kept of all training provided and signed by staff to confirm training received and understood in relation to underage sales of alcohol. These records made available to an authorised officer/Police on request.
11. All staff notified of any reports of alleged underage sales incidents that have been brought to the attention of management by Trading Standards Service.
12. A log of such notifications kept on file and available on request of an authorised officer.
13. Remedial action recorded following a report of an alleged underage sale from the premises, a copy of record made available to an authorised officer on request.
14. In the unlikely event that SIA door securities are engaged at the premises. (At the discretion of management), SIA staff will be supplied by a registered SIA company.
15. Should SIA door supervisors be required, a register will be maintained recording the following details: SIA licence number, licence expiry date, name, duty commencement date/time, duty cessation time and the individual’s signature. This register made available to authorised officers on request.
16. Posters displaying zero Policy in relation to Drug Use.
CCTV
17. Digital CCTV system installed and in operation.
18. CCTV records at all times members of the public are on the premises.
19. All areas sufficiently illuminated for the purpose of CCTV images
20. CCTV system installed so as to ensure no “Black Spots”.
21. CCTV system shows correct time(s) and date(s)
22. CCTV cameras cover internal and external areas of the premises and all areas where customers have legitimate access (excluding toilets).
23. At least one CCTV camera specifically positioned to capture facial images of any person entering the premises at every entrance.
24. CCTV images to be of evidential quality and capable of facial recognition
25. CCTV images retained for a minimum period of 30 consecutive days.
26. A person capable of operating the CCTV always available and able to produce, download or burn CCTV images if requested by Police or other relevant Licensing Authority.
27. CCTV maintenance carried out regularly and kept in good working order.
28. Posters displayed in a prominent position at the entrances and exits of the premises notifying members of the public that CCTV is in operation and images are being captured for the purposes of crime prevention and public safety.
29. Displayed posters to be no smaller than A4 size.
Protection of children from harm
30. Children under the age of 16 not permitted on the premises after 21:00hrs, unless under guidance of parent/guardian during private party.
Public Nuisance
31.Notices asking customers to respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum will be displayed at all entrances and exits and various locations around premises. Including any areas used for both drinking and smoking.
32. Smoking areas will be contained as far away from neighbouring residential properties as possible.
33. Management will also undertake regular door checks to ensure no noisy disturbances take place outside and if any do occur management will resolve them as quickly as possible either by:
· Encouraging customers to continue on their home/onward journey quickly.
· Asking customers to return inside whilst waiting for transport.
· If necessary, order taxis for customers so they come quickly so there is no delay.
34. If door staff are on duty it will be part of their role to ensure that any noise is kept to an acceptable level. If no door staff it will be the responsibility of the duty manager.
35. The use of the decking area will cease at 20:00hours with the exception of smoking. All Furniture will be stacked to prevent its use. No drinks will be consumed in the area after this time. A notice will be placed advising customers of this condition.
36. No speakers to be installed in any outside areas
37. Deliveries will be organised in such a manner as to ensure the minimum practical disturbance is caused. As per the planning condition if applicable, otherwise deliveries shall take place between the hours of 09:00 and 18:00 hours Monday to Saturday. Not at all on Sundays.
38. The DPS (or applicant) will maintain dialogue with local taxi firms and request drivers do not use horns when waiting for customers to come out of the premises
39. Waste (especially bottles), with the exception of food, will not be placed in external bins after 20:00hrs or before 09:00hrs on any day.
If applicable, Food waste bins will be contained as far away from neighbouring residential properties as possible to minimise any smells.
