ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. CCTV provided in a digitally recordable format, capable of producing pictures of evidential quality in all lighting conditions and capable of facial recognition
2. CCTV fitted to cover all entrances, exits and main serving areas
3. CCTV maintained in good working order, showing correct times and dates and will be checked daily. Records of thiese checks made.
4. Recordings retained for at least 28 days and will be made available for viewing or copies made at the request of the Police or other relevant authority. The equipment and any recordings will be
kept in a secure environment and a person who can operate/download images will always be available
5. CCTV operational at all times the premises is open to the public
6. Compiled and maintain a refusals log, made available to police or other relevant authority upon request
7. Fully cooperate and maintain good working relationships with Police and relevant authorities
8. The applicant and staff will read and sign their inhouse training sheet on Safeguarding of Children and Vulnerable Adults.
9. Challenge 25 Policy scheme operated at the premises. Signage displayed around the premises informing both staff and customers of the Challenge 25 Policy on alcohol
10. All staff trained to request the appropriate identification of proof of age from any person who appears to be under the age of 25. Training provided to all staff on the sale of age restricted
products upon their induction and also refreshed on a 6 monthly basis. A record of training/refresher training maintained and made available to authorised authorities on request
11. Member of the RMBC Responsible Retailer Scheme which is run by Rochdale MBC Public Protection Service.
12. The premises licence holder actively participates in any traders/neighbourhood forum/seminars
13. Staff who arrive early morning or depart late at night when the business has ceased trading will conduct themselves in such a manner as to avoid causing disturbance to nearby residents
14. Deliveries of good necessary for the operation of the business will be carried out at a time or in such a manner as to prevent nuisance and disturbance to nearby residents
15. Customers not admitted to premises out of opening hours
16. The Management and staff at the premises operates the following set of Compliance books consisting of:
a) CCTV log book - to be completed weekly
b) Refusals Register log - to be completed daily - when necessary
c) Incident Log - the recordings of the incident book shall be maintained to record any activity of a violent, criminal or anti-social nature by customers of the shop that happens on the
premises or in the close vicinity. The record will contain the time and date, the nature of the incident, the people involved, the action taken and details of the person responsible for the
management of the premises at the time of the incident. The incident book shall be available for inspection at all reasonable times by an authorised officer of relevant responsible authority
and/or Police Officer.
The records will be retained for at least 12 months.
17. Staff Induction Log - to include the conditions of the licence, the use of the Compliance Books, signage, the 4 licensing objectives and a section at the front to record the written alcohol
authorisation for all persons
18. Age Product Verification Training Book - The training records and all books shall be bound, tamperproof and will be kept on the premises for a minimum of 12 months and produced on demand.
19. The premise will display in prominent positions the following:
A4 posters
Proxy signs
Quiet Notices
Customer Alcohol Refusal Policy
