  The following conditions apply unless they have been superseded by provisions of the Licensing Act 2003.

  Licensing Act 2003 Mandatory Conditions

   

  Mandatory conditions where licence authorises the supply of alcohol

   

   

  (1)              No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -

   

  (a)              at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  (b)              at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  (2)              The supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

   

   

  From 1st October 2010 these conditions will also apply

   

  (3)              (a) The premises licence holder or club certificate holder shall ensure that an age verification policy applies to the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol.

                (b) The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and a holographic mark

   

   

• ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE

   

  1. CCTV system installed and fully operational

  2. CCTV images in unedited format for 28 consecutive days

  3. CCTV images produced immediately upon request to the Police/RMBC Licensing Officers

  4. Challenge 25 Policy operated

  5. Staff trained in relation to Licensing Law and sale of age restricted products at commencement of employment

  6. Staff refresher training conducted on a regular basis

  7. Staff training records kept and produced on request to Police/RMBC Licensing Officers

  8. The only forms of identification accepted for retail sales of alcohol/age restricted products are; ten year UK passport, photo driving licence or PASS logo proof of age card

  9. Signage displayed clearly and prominently within store stating minimum age to purchase alcohol/age restricted products

  10. All alcohol displayed in sight of lead till

  11. Alcohol display area is no more than 5% of store display area
