  The following conditions apply unless they have been superseded by provisions of the Licensing Act 2003.

  Licensing Act 2003 Mandatory Conditions

   

  Mandatory conditions where licence authorises the supply of alcohol

   

   

  (1)              No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -

   

  (a)              at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  (b)              at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  (2)              The supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

   

   

  From 1st October 2010 these conditions will also apply

   

  (3)              (a) The premises licence holder or club certificate holder shall ensure that an age verification policy applies to the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol.

                (b) The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and a holographic mark.

   

   

• ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE

   

  1. CCTV installed and operational

  2. CCTV maintained in good working order

  3. CCTV images correctly timed

  4. CCTV images retained for 31 consecutive days

  5. CCTV images produced immediately upon request to the Police/Authorised Officers of RMBC

  6. CCTV signage displayed

  7. Sale of alcohol to area 10% or less of trading area

  8. No sales of alcohol to persons who are drunk

  9. Challenge 25 posters displayed clearly and prominently within the store

  10. Risk assesments completed

  11. Fire risk assesment in place and reviewd regularly in accordance with Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety Order) 2005

  12. Certified fire fighting equipment

  13. Car park regularly patrolled to prevent loitering

  14. Persons refusing to move reported to GMP for safe dispersal

  15. Staff trained on induction in respect of sale of age restricted products

  16. Staff refresher training for all staff every 3 months on age restricted products on age restricted products

  17. Training includes proxy sales, signs and symptoms of intoxication, dealing with refusal of sales, confrontational behaviour

  18. The only valid forms of identification accepted are passport, photo driving licence, PASS hologram or Her Majesty's Forces Warrant Card

  19. Refusals log kept and produced to Police/Authorised Officers of RMBC on request
