  The following conditions apply unless they have been superseded by provisions of the Licensing Act 2003.

  Licensing Act 2003 Mandatory Conditions

   

  Mandatory conditions where licence authorises the supply of alcohol

   

   

  (1)              No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -

   

  (a)              at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  (b)              at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  (2)              The supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

   

   

  From 1st October 2010 these conditions will also apply

   

  (3)              (a) The premises licence holder or club certificate holder shall ensure that an age verification policy applies to the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol.

                (b) The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and a holographic mark

   

   

• ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE

   

  1. CCTV is to be installed, operational and maintained, at all times the premise is open to the public. The images are to be retained for a period of 31 days and made available to any authorised person from Rochdale MBC upon request

  2. If the CCTV system is not in operation for any reason the Premises Licence Holder will take the appropriate steps to rectify the faults ASAP

  3. A person must must be on the premises at all times licensable activities take place who can operate the CCTV equipment including being able to produce/download/burn CCTV images upon request by a person from a responsible authority

  4. Challenge 25 scheme to be operated at the premises. The store will display signage around the premises informing both staff and customers of our Challenge 25 policy on alcohol

  5. All staff will be trained to request the appropriate identification of proof of age from any person who appears to be under the age of 25. To provide training to all staff on the sale of age restricted products upon their induction and also refreshed on a 6 monthly basis. A record of training/refresher training to be maintained and made available to authorities upon request

  6. The Premises Licence Holder will actively participate in any traders/neighbourhood forum/seminars

  7. A till prompt will appear on the initial side of alcohol that will remind the seller of their responsibilities including not to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18
