  The following conditions apply unless they have been superseded by provisions of the Licensing Act 2003.

   

  Off Licence

   

   

  Licensing Act 2003 Mandatory Conditions

   

  Mandatory conditions where licence authorises the supply of alcohol

   

   

  (1)              No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -

   

  (a)              at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  (b)              at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  (2)              The supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

   

   

  From 1st October 2010 these conditions will also apply

   

  (3)              (a) The premises licence holder or club certificate holder shall ensure that an age verification policy applies to the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol.

                (b) The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and a holographic mark

   

   

• ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE

   

  1. Digital CCTV installed and maintained

  2. CCTV images retained for 28 days

  3. CCTV images produced to Police and Licensing Officers immediately upon request

  4. Fire safety regulations complied with

  5. Evacuation procedures in place for disabled customers

  6. Trade waste agreement in place

  7. Staff training to ensure that in case of any doubt whether the purchaser is over the age of 18 to refuse sale of alcohol unless valid identification is produced

  8. Till prompts to remind staff at point of sale of alcohol to ensure the purchaser is over the age of 18

  9. All displays of alcohol must have appropriate signage to advise purchasers that it is an offence for under 18's to purchase alcohol

  10. All points of sale will be monitored by a digital CCTV system

  11. Challenge 25 scheme in force for persons who appear to be less than 25 years old
