ANNEX 3 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY
1. Challenge 25 Scheme to be operated at the premises. Challenge 25 posters to be clearly and prominently displayed
2. A refusals log is to be kept to record dates and times of all refusals to retail alcohol to underage persons, a copy of the log to be made available immediately upon request by officers of Greater Manchester Police and/or authorised officers of Rochdale Borough Council
3. CCTV to be installed inside and outside the premises and be maintained and in working order and recording at all times during opening hours
4. CCTV images to be retained for a period of 31 days and be made available immediately when requested by officers of Greater Manchester Police and/or authorised officer of Rochdale Borough Council
5. CCTV to be checked and confirmed in working order every day and records of the checks to be made
6. Staff to be trained in the use of CCTV and trained staff to be present at all times during opening hours
7. To sign up to the Rochdale Borough Council's Responsible Retailer Scheme which is run by RMBC's Trading Standards Service. To attend training seminars organised by the Trading Standards Service as and when requested to do so
8. To provide training at least every 6 months, to existing staff, on the law relating to underage sales of alcohol. To keep written records of all training provided in respect of the law relating to underage sales of alcohol. Staff to sign and date records to confirm that training has been received and understood. To provide training to all new staff on the sale of age restricted products
9. To inform all staff of changes in the law relating to age restricted products as and when required
10. To notify staff of any reports of alleged underage sale incidents that have been brought to the attention of 99p Stores Limited and/or the DPS by the Trading Standards Service. To keep a log of such notifications and be available for inspection by authorised officers of RMBC if required
