  The following conditions apply unless they have been superseded by provisions of the Licensing Act 2003.

   

  On Licence

   

   

  Licensing Act 2003 Mandatory Conditions

   

  Mandatory conditions where licence authorises the supply of alcohol

   

   

  (1)              No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -

   

  (a)              at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  (b)              at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  (2)              The supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

   

  From 1st October 2010 these conditions will also apply

   

  (3)              (a) The premises licence holder or club certificate holder shall ensure that an age verification policy applies to the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol.

                (b) The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and a holographic mark.

   

  Mandatory conditions where Door Supervisors are provided

   

  All individuals who carry out security activities must be licensed by the Security Industry Authority (SIA)

   

   

• ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE

   

  1. Notice to be displayed at the entrance of the premises asking customers to leave the premises   quietly and to respect and consider local neighbours.

   

  2. Age verification policy will be in place to ask for valid ID before any alcohol is sold. No ID no sale.

   

  3. More than one member of staff will be present at the premises in the evening when the premises are open to members of the public.

   

   

• ANNEX 3 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY

   

  1. A logbook to be kept of all sales refused and to be produced to Greater Manchester Police and Authorised Officers of Rochdale MBC immediately upon request.

  2. A logbook recording all staff training on age restricted products to be kept and to be produced to Authorised Officed of Rochdale MBC immediately upon request.

  3. The applicant to join the Responsible Retailer Scheme.

  4. The premises to operate the Challenge 21 Scheme on age restricted products and notices shall be prominently displayed in the window and within the premises advertising the Challenge 21 Scheme.

  5. A CCTV camera to be installed at the front external entrance to the premises.
