  Off Licence Conditions

   

  Mandatory conditions where licence authorises the supply of alcohol

   

   

  (1)              No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -

   

  (a)              at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  (b)              at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  (2)              The supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

   

   

   

• ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE

   

  1. Alcohol will not be sold before 9am.

  2. CCTV to be installed in the premises to include coverage of all tills.

  3. Recorded images to be retained in an unedited format for a period of 31 days.

  4. Recorded images to be made available to the Police and authorised Officers of Rochdale MBC upon request.

  5. Any person left in charge of the premises must be trained in the use of any such CCTV equipment and able to produce /download/burn CCTV images upon request by an Authorised Officer of a Responsible Authority or the Police.

  6. There shall be no alcohol delivery service.

  7. Security personnel (SIA registered) to be on duty from the opening time and to remain on duty until the last customer has left the premises.

  8. Staff to be instructed and fully trained that alcohol will not be sold to any persons under the age of 18 and who appear to be drunk.

  9. Notices to be displayed inside the premises stating that it is an offence for any person under 18 years of age to purchase alcohol.

  10.'Challenge 21' policy to be implemented.

  11. Acceptable form of evidence of age to be a valid passport, photo driving licence or 'Prove it' card containing a PASS logo.

  12. The cash tills used for the sale of alcohol to have the benefit of an electronic 'prompt' for operators in respect of age restricted sales.

  13. All fire fighting equipment shall be maintained and certificated in accordance with required conditions.

  14. Public liability insurance in place.

  15. A fire risk assessment to be conducted and reviewed regularly in accordance with the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety Order) 2005.
