ANNEX 3 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY
(1) CCTV is to be installed, operational and maintained all times the premises are open to the public. The images are to be retained for a period of 31 days and made available to any police officer or authorised person from Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council Licensing Department upon request.
(2) Any person left in charge of the premises must be trained in the use of any such CCTV equipment and able to produce/download/burn CCTV images upon request by a person from a responsible authority or the Police.
(3) The CCTV is to be checked daily. If it is found not to be working, no alcohol may be served until such time that it is. Records of these checks must be kept and produced to the police or authorised officers of RMBC upon request.
(4) Premises to adopt the 'Challenge 21' Scheme as adopted by the British Beer & Pub Association and prominently display Challenge 21 posters. Staff to ask for appropriate identification of proof of age with a photograph of the person displayed on the ID.
(5) Staff are to trained before they start employment and retrained every six months in relation to basic licensing legislation and age restricted products, including the law relating to underage sales of alcohol.
(6) Written records of this training must be kept and produced to the police or authorised officers of RMBC upon request. Satff to sign and date records to confirm that the training has been received and understood.
(7) No delivery service allowed.
(8) A refusal log is to be kept to record dates and times of all refusals to retail alcohol to underage persons.
(9) The opening hours of the premises to be as follows:
Mondays to Thursdays - 9am to 11pm
Fridays and Saturdays - 9am to 11.30pm
Sundays - 10am to 10pm
(10) The sales of alcohol to take place between the following hours only:
Mondays to Thursdays - 10am to 11pm
Fridays and Saturdays - 10am to 11.30pm
Sundays - 10am to 10pm
