ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. The CCTV system is to be maintained in good order at all times. The system is to be tested daily and if it is found to be not working no alcohol will be sold until such a time that is.
2. Images from all cameras are to be stored for a period of not less than 31 days. CCTV to record at all times the premises are open to the public. Images are to be made available to any Police Officer or authorised officer of the local authority immediately upon their request. CCTV to be installed internally and externally of the premises.
3. To ask for appropriate identification of proof of age with a photograph of the person displayed on the I.D.
4. A refusal log is to be kept to record dates and times of refusals to retail alcohol.
5. Challenge 21 Scheme operated at premises.
6. Challenge 21 posters to be clearly and prominently displayed.
7. To provide training, at least once a year to all staff on age restricted products.
8. To attend training seminars organised by the Trading Standards Service as and when requested to do so.
9. To keep a written record of all training provided and get staff to sign and date records to confirm that the training has been received and understood.
10. To notify staff of any reports of alleged underage sale incidents that has been bought to attention from trading standards.
11. To keep a log of such notifications on file, ready for inspection by authorised officers of RMBC if required.
12. To record any remedial action following a report from Trading Standards of any alleged underage sale from the premises.
13. To produce a copy of the 'Record of Remedial Action' if requested by an authorised officer of RMBC.
14. Notices will be displayed throughout the premises stating Shoplifters will be reported to the Police and Prosecuted.
15. Congregations of people outside the premises will be asked to disperse.
16. Adequate lighting inside the premises shall be in place.
17. Ensure premises are litter free on a regular basis.
18. To be actively aware of Proxy Purchasers.
19. Ensure members of staff are made aware and are educated to their obligations under the Licensing Act 2003.
