• ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE

   

  1) SIA licensed security operatives will be working on site & will work closely with the local police to deal with any problems.

  2) Community Police Officers will be present on-site with the police controlling traffic on main roads

  3) Barriers will be erected around the stage and the artist’s area.

  4) Security operatives and Adult Volunteer Stewards will work closely with the Event Manager / Security Manager to alert them of possible situations occurring.  Announcements will be made from the stage and performances stopped until situations are resolved.

  5) Every attempt will be made to position the stage facing away from nearby local residents to cause minimal noise nuisance to the residents,

  6) Parking will be well signed & cones will be in place so that residents will not be obstructed.

  7) Security Operatives will ensure that people attending the event when leaving, leave in an orderly manner.

  8) Parents will be requested to supervise their own children.

  9) Performing groups involving children will be chaperoned.

  10) All Security Operatives and Adult Volunteers will know the procedure for dealing with lost children.

  11) By July 2008 (2 weeks before the event), all relevant Safety & Test Certificates from the Funfair, Staging Sound Systems and Hygiene Certificates from Food Stalls will be in place.
