Licensing Act 2003 Mandatory Conditions
Mandatory conditions where licence authorises the supply of alcohol
(1) No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -
(a) at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or
(b) at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
(2) The supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. The premises will operate a CCTV system.
2. All members of staff will be fully trained and will have all received in house training on the sale of alcohol.
3. A scanning system shall be operative which shall prompt members of staff to check age of customers when alcohol is being purchased.
4. A refusal log book shall be in place and the premises shall operate a due diligence recording system.
5. The premises shall undertake internal test purchasing.
6. The premises will have a due diligence policy in place.
7. The premises will operate an over 21 policy but alcohol may be purchased by 18-21 year olds on production of approved identification.
8. The CCTV system is to be maintained and in good order at all times. Images from all cameras are to be stored for a period of not less than 31 days. CCTV to record at all times the premises are open to the public. Images are to be made available to any Police Officer or authorised officer of the local authority immediately upon their request.
