ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
1. CCTV to record at all times the premises are open to the public.
2. The CCTV system is to be maintained. The images are to be retained for a period of 31 days and made available to any police officer or authorised person from RMBC Licensing department upon request.
3 Alcohol will only be delivered to persons over 18 years of age and proof of age will be requested where persons appear to be under 21 years of age. Passport, Driving Licence or any cards bearing the 'PASS' hologram, (Portman group, Validate or Citizencard) are only documents accepted as proof of age.
4 A log is to be kept of all deliveries and this is to be made available to the Police and any authorised officer of RMBC.
5. Premises are to adopt the 'challenge 21' scheme as adopted by the British Beer and Pub Association.
6. Any delivery sales made over the telephone will be settled by card payment. This makes the shop the point of sale, and no cash will be taken for alcohol whilst delivering.
7. Maintenance of a log recording incidents at or near premises.
8. Appropriate levels of exterior lighting to discourage disorder.
9. Annual electrical and gas safety checks by registered engineers.
10. Provision of appropriate first aid equipment and a trained first aider.
11. Procedures and training for calling the emergency services.
12. Food hygiene certificate in place.
13. Promote responsible waste disposal.
14. Notices advising customers to leave quietly and respect neighbours.
15. Install modern filtration systems which can be very beneficial in reducing the degree of cooking smells.
16. Consideration of adequate parking provision within the locality.
17. Packaging is branded with logo to help reduce litter being a public nuisance and it will be identified and removed.
18. Training of staff to ensure compliance with the law in relation to consumption of alcohol by persons under the age of 18 including prevention of adults buying for children.
19. Consideration to provision of completely smoke free premises.
20. Have a stated policy about challenging for proof of age i.e. anyone who looks under 21 will be asked for ID.
